It is a 501(c)(3) charity. The sisters founded Project Bell when Isabella was 12 and Alexa 10, after their Mom needed proton radiation for a benign but life threatening brain tumor. At the center where their mom was treated, there was a bell ringing ceremony to provide hope, inspiration, and empowerment to the patients and families. This inspired the sisters to donate bells so other patients could have the bell ringing experience. Project Bell” raises money to donate “New Beginning” bells/plaques for those in need. It has donated bells around the world that are rung by over a hundred thousand people each year“.
