I had 25 radiation treatments. Some days there were one or two others patients waiting, some days just myself. When they came into the room to take me for the treatment I just took off and followed them.

I passed by the bell everyday. During my last week of treatments, one of the techs, who by the way were exceptional, said we are almost done, are you ready to ring the bell, I said what bell. They took me by the hand and said “voila” after your last treatment, you get to ring it three times. I said really, they said ... “do it” ...

After my last session, I changed into street clothes and looked around for someone to take a picture so I rang it three times ... read the inscription ... took a picture and researched project bell ... I then thanked your organization by supplying a bell that is now at the Koch Center in NYC ... ta da !!!
